Manchester City stars Sergio Aguero and Pablo Zabaleta will miss the start of the next Premier League season if Argentina reach the final of the Copa America this summer.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini insists he will give all his players competing in South America's continental championship a 30-day break after the tournament to recharge their batteries for the new season.
The final in Chile is due to take place on July 4 and with the Premier League season beginning on August 8, it would leave Pellegrini with the dilemma of whether to pick them after only three days training following a month's inactivity.

Other City players Martin Demichelis, Willie Caballero (both Argentina) and Fernandinho (Brazil) could all also feature.
Pellegrini said: 'Those players (at the Copa America) may start their holidays later but they will still get the right amount of rest.'
