Ben Bay Realty - Bay Ridge

Today with the help of a phenomenal realtor my coop in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn closed today. Maria Castellano is an exemplary real estate agent, who was a true advocate for me throughout the sales process. It wasn't an easy property to sell but Maria didn't shy away from the challenge, she embraced it and aggressively sought out buyers. To my pleasure and surprise, Maria was able within one month to secure a buyer for a complicated property in the off season.

From the start of the selling process, Maria brought to me a sound pricing strategy and the wealth of her real estate experience. In addition, I found her to be a very caring individual who was never to busy to answer a question, whether by text or phone. I highly recommend Maria Castellano to anyone looking to sell or buy property, her knowledge, attention to detail, strategy and care during the sales process is priceless.

I wish I could say that I had a good experience with Dina from this place, but it would not be true.

She was supposed to get back to me about a question that I had about an apartment & about possibly seeing the apartment on that same day. We even set an approximate time to see the apartment. She said she would text me to let me know. She left me hanging for the whole day! I did eventually get in contact with her again but she was very unprofessional she even said lol to me in a text message about something--what real estate agent does that?! So unprofessional!

Side note-- Charles & Maria from this place did try to fix the bad experience that I had, but it is what it is at this point. I just would not recommend this real estate business to anyone.

we had an easy stress free experience with dina from ben bay. i was very nervous about the process and dina walked me step by step, practically holding my hand. i told her what we needed and she delivered it all on the 1st and only showing!

she called when she said she would. she emailed and texted. the whole experience was painless. she was professional every step of the way. she was knowledgeable and honest with us.

the ben bay office was very clean and welcoming. they have all the amenities.

I have been stressing for 2 weeks about finding a new place. I called Ben Bay and spoke with Maria. She asked me to come meet her, which I did. I spoke with her for about 15 minutes and told her exactly what I was looking for. Two days later, she called me and told me that she had found something that she thought I would like. I went to take a look and fell in love with the place. She found EXACTLY what I was looking for and even managed to talk the landlord down a bit.

If you're looking for a place and want someone who will work hard and fast, while not sitting on her butt making you wait - - ASK FOR MARIA!! She was awesome and I'm extremely happy with our new place.

I requested information regarding an apartment for rent with agent Francine Gershenson. She requested some information, which was sent to her on 02/12/2020. As of the date of this review she has not responded. She is completely unprofessional and rude, not an agent I would ever deal with again. She is a disgrace to the real estate profession. I will definitely be spreading the word to avoid her.

My husband and I recently sold our Brooklyn apartment through Ben Bay and are happy with the outcome. Last winter we were looking for a real estate broker and I came across a magnet on our refrigerator that had Ben Bay's contact information. I called and made an appointment with Charles Fabbella.

Our impression of Charles after meeting him was that he is an experienced broker and works hard to get the job done. We had met with other brokers from Century 21 Demasi and other companies but Charles was the most professional and helpful. He never asked us to change the way we live by clearing out the apartment to show it to potential buyers. It was very important to us that we were able to go about our normal routines and live life everyday while showing the place.

We were so glad that we decided to work with him. Charles was always available to answer any questions we had and he sold our coop apartment in a very short amount of time. The whole process was seamless and straightforward.

Simply the best. After MUCH looking on my own, I walked into Ben Bay Realty on Sunday, late afternoon and I was greeted by James. Let me tell you, he was amazing!
I had been working with other agents that were not helpful and James was the complete opposite. He was charming, intelligent and extremely helpful.
I met him on Sunday, made an appointment to see apartments on Tuesday and I am signing the lease to my new apartment next week.
James showed me two apartments before I fell in love with the third. He organized a meeting with the landlord at his office, he always made sure we were comfortable and even vouched for me (told the land lord I was a great person etc.). He was always available when I needed help, just a text away.
